I would no more accept my son being a baby daddy than my daughter a baby mama. I fell in love with Barack and Michelle to the point that I adopted them both as my children - it may be presumptuous but it is how I felt in my heart. When Sarah Palin came on the scene and started mocking "community organizers", I got hopping mad so I mobilize for Obama to help in my small way to get him elected to the White House. I defended Barack and Michelle as if they were my own kids. Alas, young black girls can be virtuous and demand respect from their male counterparts because they have Michelle Obama as an example - you have kids in a family setting with two married parents to take care of them. My one final hope is that rap music and rappers that rap about something conscious and intellectual will be treated with respect and given as much exposure as mainstream gives to gangsta rap.
